Are Caroline Lorinet’s products natural and organic?

Yes, they are! Our main aim when creating the range was to choose safe ingredients, natural or naturally derived where possible.
Many of the ingredients we use are organic.
Creating products that are safe for sensitive skin has always been our main goal.

Why are we using scientifically proven ingredients?

Our natural and organic skincare is scientifically supported. It is a new future for anti-ageing skincare that combines groundbreaking, global medical-grade ingredients with the very best of nature, backed by clinical data and impressive results.

What ingredients in your range make your skincare high performing?

Our range includes a number of ingredients you expect to find in high-performing skincare ranges such as Hyaluronic Acid, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Hyaluronate complex, Marine Exopolysaccharide, natural AHAs, Beta Glucan, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and Vitamins A, C and E.

Why are you using probiotics in your skincare?

Sun damage, airborne pollutants and diet can throw the skin’s natural micro-biome out of balance, which is a primary cause for many skin concerns. Naturally sourced from Saccharomyces Lysates and cane sugar, our living probiotics help restore the skin’s delicate balance and allow it to flourish. 

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, absolutely!
All ingredients have been chosen for gentleness as well as functionality and are safe for all skin types.
They are suitable for those suffering from skin problems such as dryness and many other skin conditions and target the roots of ageing.

Are Caroline Lorinet products hypoallergenic?

Yes, they are! However, no cosmetic product can be guaranteed 100% hypoallergenic.
Even products that have been tested with a dermatologist for low sensitisation potential may cause a slight reaction with a very small percentage of users.

If I experience some sensitivity to the products, what should I do?

If you are experiencing sensitivity, rather than use all our products at once, just start with one or two for the first week or so, until your skin settles down and adjusts to the new ingredients. Then, gradually add in the rest of the collection as you see fit.

My skin is always oily. Can I use Caroline Lorinet products?

I have very dry skin: Can I use Caroline Lorinet products.

Sure you can!
Caroline Lorinet products are formulated with highly concentrated ingredients that are scientifically proven with natural and organic ingredients to boost your skin to optimal level. 

The ingredient, Saccharide Isomerate, will keep your skin hydrated and moisturised for up to 72 hours, along with many others that keep the moisture level topped us as an effective reservoir for your skin.

The four-step products in our range support your skin so it can maintain its optimum condition.

I have a very allergic skin: Can I use Caroline Lorinet products?

Since our formulations ate 100% clean and naturally derived, our recommendation is to do a patch test first behind your ear to see if you get any reaction. If your skin is not responding well to one of our products, please discontinue use and contact a medical practitioner.

Are your products suitable for pregnant women, and those who are breastfeeding?

Yes, Caroline Lorinet products are generally suitable to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

We recommend patch testing before first as a cautionary measure. You can also consult your doctor or pharmacist and show them the ingredient list, which can be found on our product information page.

We only use certified organic oils, with natural fragrance.

Are your products suitable for children?

Do you have any products with SPF?

No, we don’t. We are concerned that mixing sunscreen ingredients with many other ingredients could cause irritation. We recommend the use of natural mineral based sunscreen applied 10 minutes after using our products.

What is the shelf life of the products?

Our products are formulated with scientifically proven ingredients and naturally derived from all over the world. We believe it is important that you use only fresh and safe products so as to maintain efficacy.

We recommend using Caroline Lorinet products within 6 months of opening. On the packaging this is marked with a symbol number 6M.

A product generally has a 24-month expiry date, which is the final date at which it can be used, provided the product has been stored correctly. The expiry date can be found on the packaging.

Do you provide samples?

We sell a trial kit of the Essential Smoothing Serum.

How long do the products last after using them?

The Essential Smoothing Serum and Super Charge Serum (30 mL) up to 3 months.
The Hydrating Cleanser and the Gentle Refreshing Toner (100 mL) up to 3 months.

How should I store the Caroline Lorinet products?

We advise storing the Caroline Lorinet products out of direct sunlight and keeping them in a cool place. Always close the lids after use and keep the bottle upright.

Are your products Cruelty Free?

Caroline Lorinet products are never tested on animals.
We believe in caring for animals and our planet.

Are Caroline Lorinet products Bio-compatible?

All our products are tested to make sure they are bio-compatible. That means they have a PH level as close as possible to the PH levels of our skin.
The PH scale ranges from 1 to 14, and Caroline Lorinet products have a PH level of just below 5.

The closer the PH level to our natural skin, the better the results. This ensures gentle exfoliation of skin cells, ensuring a smooth and youthful looking skin.

What fragrance is Caroline Lorinet using in her products?

Our fragrance is derived from natural oil blend and extract. No synthetic perfume or fragrance is used.

Why are Caroline Lorinet products friendly to skincare?

Our ingredients are non-toxic, GMO-free, Cruelty-free. Our products are devoid of Sulfates, PEGs, Mineral Oils, Parabens, Petrolatum,  Silicones, Disodium EDTA, Artificial Fragrance, Volatile alcohol, artificial colors, DEA or MEA, GMO, Chemical screens and Phenoxyethanol.

We do not use any preservatives that are synthetic.

We use preservatives from natural derived plants.  

Where are the Caroline Lorinet products made? 

Our products are made in New Zealand, formulated using high performance and naturally derived, safe ingredients that are sourced globally.

Are your products suitable for vegans?

We strive to produce vegan-friendly products where possible.

Are your products recyclable?   

Our bottles and boxes are recyclable.

Are your formulations created with the planet in mind?
